Over the last three decades, AALRR has earned a strong reputation as one of California 's most widely respected law firms. Our uncompromising approach to high quality legal work enables us to provide consistently practical management solutions in the areas of employment, labor, construction, education, real estate, general business and business litigation, corporate, taxation, and bankruptcy. With 160 attorneys in eight California offices, our firm was ranked 39th in the Daily Journal’s annual survey of the “Top California Law Firms,” March 2012. In March 2012, the firm was ranked 25th in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s annual ranking of the “Top 100 Largest Law Firms in L.A. County.” We are proud to offer attorneys and staff a productive working environment which promotes teamwork throughout the firm. The firm is an equal opportunity employer, reflective of the cultural diversities of our client base and community. Attorneys can expect a challenging and varied practice in their careers here. Managers, paralegals, secretaries, and other staff members take on equally challenging roles which play an integral part in the delivery of outstanding service to our clients.
Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo seeks to employ individuals with strong analytical and writing skills, solid academic credentials, and a genuine interest in the practice of management defense in the areas of employment, labor, construction, education, real estate, general business and business litigation, corporate, taxation, and bankruptcy.
Associates at our firm are generally vested with significant responsibility much earlier in their careers, and may advance more quickly, than attorneys at other law firms. New attorneys may have the opportunity to conduct negotiations with government agencies and opposing counsel, obtain courtroom experience, and become involved in firm marketing opportunities, as well as complete legal research and writing projects. This involvement allows them to acquire and refine their legal skills early in their careers. Our team approach involves associates in the handling of client matters -- from conducting initial investigations, to developing a defense theory, planning and carrying out strategy, and trying the case or negotiating a settlement.
Depending upon the requirements of the practice group, the firm may consider attorneys at various levels. At this time, law clerk applications are considered throughout the year on an as-needed basis.
