Jeff Jensen represents companies and individuals in a wide range of matters, with emphasis on class actions and complex litigation. He defends clients against general business tort claims, breach of contract claims, Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act claims, and shareholder direct and derivative claims. To help his clients find solutions to their problems, not just resolutions to their court motions, Mr. Jensen asks direct questions, listens to the responses he receives, and engages in creative problem solving based on identified goals.
After law school, Mr. Jensen served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Alfred T. Goodwin of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Honorable George H. King of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Jensen also spent more than a year seconded to a major broker-dealer, where he represented the broker-dealer’s affiliated bank in securities-based lending.
Mr. Jensen received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where he graduated first in his class (summa cum laude) and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado, Denver.
Mr. Jensen has provided pro bono representation to non-profit entities and low-income individuals such as the ASPCA, a national Jewish charity, a mental health advocacy organization, youth immigration petitioners, and a learning-impaired schoolchild.
